    NOOB-ish question!!

ok so heres the deal, I have a 91 ex with 15"alloys. Wheels are really shiny, one is less shiny and the other has a yellowish tint to it. how do i get them all to be as shiny and clean as the two nice ones i have.

    heres pics of them.

    Shiny and nice:

    Dull Shine:

    Nasty Yellowed:

Any suggestions on how 2 clean would be greatly appreciated =]
    thanks and God Bless!

You could try cleaning them with a wheel cleaner spray from your local auto store. Polishing and waxing MAY help.

If neither of those work then you'll have to either sand and paint or sand to the metal and then polish the metal.... Other than that im out of ideas.

They'll look really good if you sand them down to the metal and polish. It will give you the mirror finish look.

Once you strip the clear, be prepared to maintain them... otherwise, oxidation will make them look HORRIBLE.

That's alot of effort for those particular rims. I'd honestly just scuff and paint them and then search for some new rims.

I had the same wheels on my Accord. They were pretty nasty. I ended up painting them, and then replaced them with the newer style that was similar to those, but had bigger holes, then replaced those with 15" Legend wheels, then replaced those with CD5s and replaced those with 18" Falkens.
