I've got one too, this was my second upgrade for the Accord but yeah that one pipe scrapes when i pull into the drive way and i'm stock height.

You can see how low the resonator sits in the middle

Don't mind the rasp...I had a hollowed out cat and its been replaced with magnaflow high flow. The best cat for this setup. Smooth and zero rasp.

The only exhaust i would buy for my cb(well if i had one)

Never got a chance to get one but this is the one i wanted.

And as far as repositioning it, couldn't you take it to a place and have them weld shorter hangers in place? Do they bolt on or are they welded? I can't remember.

Obv it might cost ya a little but i would think it would be somewhat simple?

The hangers are welded. It its not a matter of shortening them, but to reposition them to a location where when mounted on rubbers, it sits higher.
Although its a scary thought of modifying a exhaust like that, I do want to go lower, and I dont want to continue getting caught on speed bumps.

i wouldnt buy the whole system.

just buy the universal muffler and get custom mandrel piping. it does well with out the resonators too. a lot of people experience problems with the piping hanging too low even with other cars.

i bought the whole ws2 exhaust system for the cb. and later on had to go with custom piping because one speed bump just nearly ripped off my whole exhaust system. and my car wasnt even really that low.

the prelude guys have this problem too. thats why i bought a tanabe system and sold the cat back and went with a ws1 catback. the tanabe piping tucks really well and the ws1 exhaust compliments it very well.

Well, I had a very interesting weekend with the exhaust. 205/50/15's+ Lowered= Sparks everywhere! on a cruise we did after the meet, and exhaust leak after my 3hr ride back home.

That was short lived; with my spare APEXi resonator, I had it redone this morning. All tucked back in, although resonator might grind lightly when I decide to slam the car on my 15x7's...sounds the same (thanks GHOST), and no more leak.

                  Pics up in a bit...
