which is better, ingersoll-rand or campbell hausfield air hammer

Anyone have any experience with models of either of these? I can get either one for just under $100 on Amazon. Also, what length stroke is good for general use? Some of them have strokes as as long as 1 5/8 inch, others are half that in length.

I-R, i use their giant compressors at work for jack hammers...never once have they broken down on me..
