People need to stop hating on Lebron already. I'm still trying to see in which other profession when someone chooses to work for another company get this type of backlash and hatreed thrown at them.
I still cant believe what the Cavs owner said (he's very butt hurt). Its like he made business deals assuming Bron Bron was gonna return and when he didnt it just pissed him off. Shit, the owner and the city made Billions if not Trillions of dollars off lebron so I just dont get it.
It isnt Lebrons job or duty either to ensure that Cleveland is successful in something when they suck at everything else, its not his responsibility to ensure that the local bars/restaurants make money so people need to leave the kid alone.
Well, im still a Lakers fan even tho he's down in my neck of the woods but it will sure make for some interesting basketball come next season.

I wish players would stay with the same team through their entire career. I know that's unreasonable, but it's hard to watch a great player move to another team. It's like watching your favorite superhero being played by a different actor every time a movie is made (like how Michael Keaton quitting after the first 2 Batman movies pretty much killed that strain of the franchise.)

He has every much right to switch companies as the fry maker at McDonald's. No one mentions that apparently Cleveland didn't want to hold on to him bad enough..
What made me disgusted with the whole Lebron BS is that the local news opened with the story about him deciding to go to South Beach, instead of the story of a missing child taken by a suspected murderer that they had just mentioned in the "coming up next on the news" commercial. I mean, really? Since when is some ball player more important than a missing child in the hands of a suspected murderer?

Honestly, people are more likely to watch a story about a favorite (or hated) athelete than they are a story about a missing child that they've never met. It makes sense to open with something that appeals to everyone... it acutally increases the chances that more people will watch the bit about the missing child.
Although, it's true... people often put more interest in the activities of celebrities, and not enough into things that are actually important... such as emergencies, tragedies, and politics (worthwhile politics, like lawmaking... not scandals),

why the hell do you need an hour to tell people that your going to another team.everything pointed toward miami so why have a special?
thats rubbing it in all of clevelands face.i agree that he has a choice to go whereever he wants to go but in a mature manner.
he should have went to chicago.better chances of winning a title.
i hope everything goes bad in miami.

Well Lebron was not going to Chicago for the simple face that if you remember in this years 1st round of the eastern conference playoffs Bulls forward Joakim Noah was talkin' sh!t to LeBron at the free throw line after he was dancing on the Cavs bench earlier in the game. So they have had beef in the past and we know Noah is no where near the player of James or has any respect for him.
I am glad he is in a familiar place where he knows the chemistry of his teammates (i.e. USA Basketball Team). It will be a great fit for him and I am going to always be a Lebron James fan, but i will not jump on the Heat bandwagon. I'm still a Hawks fan lol.

I'm thankful that I don't really care about basketball... It's by far my least favorite sport. I don't even know or care what the Sixers do from year to year. Basketball has more drama than the hip-hop scene. There are a few players that I like... but that's based more on their reputation, and their personalities that I get to see from their various non-basketball-related endorsements...

I thought the Keaton/Burton Batman movies were by far the best screen representations of the character (save for the animated series, which may have been better...)

You go where the money is, where the greatest chance for success is, and where the spotlight is. Something about Miami was more appealing. Sure, Chicago might be the better team... but if Miami somehow wins a title, LeBron will probably be given a large amount of the credit. If he went to Chicago, he'd be a part of a good team... but if Miami ends up being great, everyone will say it's because of him.
