    about red light cameras

a while back i made a trip to chicago in my accord and ran a red light. got the ticket in the mail today (missed the yellow by LESS THAN A SECOND. even says so on the ticket i was sent lol) anyways, the title to the accord is not in my name, or anyone in my family for that matter. it's still in the previous owner's name who now lives in turkey and my car is now in the junkyard as of this morning. should i even worry about paying this ticket??? only thing linked to me is the address, that's it.

Really? So how many people on here drove a car under their parents' names and addresses while they were in high school or college? Lots. It's the same concept, there's just no relation to the person on the title.

Also, to the op, you might want to read this.

It seems that red light camera tickets are a lot different than a lot of other citations. It probably has to do with the fact that red light cameras are operated through contractors who bid on jobs and not the police department.
