So what's the deal with people leaning way out the window or driving with their wrist? I've never understood it. It was on my mind because I saw someone leaning hard with their hand completely bent over the steering wheel.

Does anyone do it? No need to lie about it.

I occasionally put my wrist on the steering wheel when I'm on the interstate to stretch out my hand after driving for a long time.

yea, thats why i cant stand driving a camaro or monte carlo, you sit so low yet the front end is so big, how can you even gauge your distance. in my VW, i sit race car status, it's so close i hit the bolster every time i get in and out.

i wear a flatbill sometimes but i wear it straight, and trucker status. flat bill and trucker = how you do it in real norcal

The only time I've ever driven with my wrists is when I was driving a moving truck and it was because the seat wouldn't go back far enough for me to properly hold the steering wheel. In the CB, for me to drive with my wrists, I'd have to lean forward in my seat and that just isn't comfortable.

I've seen some folks driving nameless sedans with the seats close to full lock in the reclined position and the driver practically laying down with one wrist on the steering wheel. I don't know how they manage to actually drive. It just looks so damn uncomfortable.

i've been told by a brother with an sti that i have a little bit of a gangsta lean, and i do notice myself driving with my wrists occasionally when i'm cruisin, but what do you expect, i drive a ricey integra.

I've been known to "lean like a cholo" from time to time. Not really.

That shit drives me nuts, around here, they lean so much I don't see how they can see over the steering wheel/dash. It looks retarded. Sit the fuck up, watch the road and drive your fucking car. And what makes it even worse is, when they're leaning like that, they can't see where the fuck they're going, so they do like 10 miles an hour.

I know that feeling. I usually drive sitting about up right close to everything, basically for the hard/fun driving even though I keep that to a min.
