We'll occasionally have meets where faraway people show up... but an all-cb7tuner meet won't ever happen. The average cb7tuner is poor, and has a 20 year old car that may not be the most reliable. The majority of us are casual hobbyists that like to tinker with our daily drivers. Those of us that are truly serious about the cars are usually busy with life, work, and other responsibilities that are more important than a far away meet.

Then there are the people that have the luxury, ambition, and FRM cajones to make the long trips.

I plan to have a small CB7tuner meet in Malaysia this winter.

I'd have trusted my DX. But probably not my EX.

No way in hell I'd trust my Heep to drive long distances.

Since the rebuild i'm not sure how wanda would fare. my feeling is that i'd get about 1200 miles or so and would have to repair or replace something minor. but honestly if i shat a spark plug and needed a nice coolant flush and new hoses big whoop... if i'm driving long distance it's what's to be expected on an older car...i'd use about 40 quarts of oil!!!!

neighbor just recently drove his 94 camry with 280k on it to go out and see his son in Cali, and my mechanic friend down the road said that he had no troubles at all. so that's a good distance away from vermont and he's only done just routine maintenance but has been meticulous about it.

it'd be so cool to see THAT many cb's all in one place. but how many cars and people would that make. shit'd be impossibly hectic. still, i think something more realistic would be a regional meet but like regions as in the northwest, down south, up here in the dirty durr, or out west.

edit: ^that'd still be fucking cornhole loads of cars.
