I don't know what caused it for sure. I hadn't hit anything that day to cause a hole in my oil pan though and I checked my oil the day before and it was perfect.

You couldve probably thrown out a rod racing the car as well. I dont know if anyone else NOTICED the statement:

My H22 threw a rod cause I was running it around 6500rpms without vtec. My ECU is set to have vtec kick in at 4800rpms :/ So don't run your car past where vtec is suppose to kick in without vtec kicking in.

So you had the ECU tuned or 'set' for a specific range for the VTEC crossover. My only advice is don't mess with the ecu unless you've done some serious bolt ons to be able to tweak with the VTEC settings.

You probably romped on it...raced someone and you pulled a Jessie move hit VTEC instead of NAWS (yea its a F&F reference) the other driver probably pulled a Johnny Tran move and screamed out his infamous words 'Too soon junior' you screamed no and blew the motor.

Go fetch my car.

better to underestimate than over estimate. my buddy next to me who is going to apply to dinan didnt know the difference between an ECT sensor and a thermostat. i laughed in his face and then got scolded by the teacher because i shouldnt act so cocky like i know everything.
