No. But I'm surprised that hasn't happened yet. lol.
My H22 threw a rod cause I was running it around 6500rpms without vtec.
My ECU is set to have vtec kick in at 4800rpms :/
So don't run your car past where vtec is suppose to kick in without vtec kicking in.

I think vtec not kicking in is just another "symptom" there's a reason it didn't kick in and that's also probably what caused you to throw a rod.

I don't know. My oil level was fine though. It was only throwing one code and that was 14: Ignition Control Module.Comment
