2 Sonic Boom's coming from a sky near you?

Call me a nerd but I will be going to bed at 3am Central time and be out of bed and outside for this at 7:30 local time

I am too far west to see the Shuttle itself as it passes over Missouri but definitely hoping to hear it as this will be the last return path that comes anywhere near Kansas City.

    Well, fuck.

I missed this. We have an overcast anyway, so.

Mike you didn't miss anything. We all missed it. The Shuttle is still orbiting until later this morning when it will make 3 more attempts, due to rain Monday morning in Florida. Nothing close enough for you or I to see or hear today. Closest it could be to us is near Tulsa, OK.

Today's first attempt can go either to Edwards AFB in California or to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Attempts 2 and 3 are for Edwards AFB only.

i heard about this yesterday. I wanted to hear it too but upon hearing it was postponed, i posted a sign on my dock doors that lead outside, "Attn employees, the shuttle has been cancelled. Go back to work."
