I just bought a 32gb Ipod Touch :D

As the title says, I just bought a 32gb Ipod Touch.

Now, how can I tell if it's a 2 gen or 3 gen? I read that the 2 gens have 4+ lines of text below the storage engraving (8gb, 16gb, 32gb). Whereas I read that the 3 gens have only 2-3 lines under the storage engraving.

Is this true? I'm 99% sure I have a 3 gen... which is good.



Now, I have tons of questions. First, if I buy a case for a 2 gen... will it fit a 3 gen?

If its a third gen there will be an " accessibility " section under the general section in the settings.

And yes a 2nd gen case will fit a 3rd gen perfectly fine.

Yep, settings>General>accessiblity. (voice over, zoom, etc).

Also sweet that I can buy a case for 2 gen.

Yeah all the cases are interchangeable. Ipod Touch's are pretty cool. I'd want one, but I've been through like 3 Ipods. I've had enough of apple

lol its the only Apple product worth buying. It wasn't their damn computers that got them popular again, it was their mp3 players

Going to P-Burg in mid to late August.

I think this is pretty sweet so far. I'm probably going to jail break it. I don't like the idea of having to put my CC info in to download a free app.

i think the volume buttons on a 1g are up further than the 2-3gs.
but im not positive.
