Palm Pre / Pixi owners!!!

Just got a Palm Pixi Plus with verizon... replaced my LG Dare.


The three main reasons I choose the Palm over the iPhone:

1. the Pixi can multitask

2. it has a physical keyboard

3. I don't look like a pretentious douche because I have an Apple product


sweet little phone. does everything I need in a phone and more. fun to play with, and the keyboard is excellent.

my only complaint is that the ringers aren't very loud... but I'll get used to it.




who owns a Pre or Pixi??

What are your favorite apps/features?


I like the fact that for no additional charge (on what I'm paying now) I can use the phone as a mobile hotspot.

We have a demo pre at work... I can't demo it because my fat thumbs can't use the keyboard!!

How do you owners address this? Is it an issue for you as well? That's about the ONLY thing I like about my voyager.... The keyboard is easy easy easy. But browsing sucks, calls are sketchy, and it's ugly silver haha.

i almost did buy iy because the keyboard issue but im sure i got way bigger fingers than u do and i was good in a couple days, no issue here for me.

heh yeah I'm 6'1" and 120lbs and from what I hear your well built. I guess if you figured it out I could!!

But I swear i stand around at work for hours sometimes trying to play with the damn thing and I just get annoyed and quit! But it is an attractive phone. I like it don't get me wrong. Just a little too complex for me. which sucks because I'm trying to get a motorola droid... not much better as far as simplicity.
