Eg oil leak

I went to see my car today, its been a week since i seened it or turned it on, and i noticed that there was oil beside the engine on top of the tranny... in my opinion i would say its a valve cover gasket leak, but would it really be that bad of a leak if so?? if i had pics i would post up if needed i will post up tommorow... Lmk wat u guys think, worst case scenerio would be the head gasket but i doubt it

maybe a distrubiter seal leak

Yea distributor seal is the most likely, you just take the dis off and there is an o-ring on the shaft.
