as for rotors i believe its only a year warranty.

i have the cmax for my accord.
the valuecrap rotors are one year, duralast is two years. pads are still lifeftime and the CMax pads come with hardware so you might as well get those and get free hardware for the lifetime of your vehicle.

I like to go to O'Reilly Auto. They too have lifetime warranty pads available, only without the less than knowledgeable staff who will deem your warranty void because they think you abused your car or installed it improperly.
edit: links to the AZ pads for your fit: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...&parentId=44-0

the only time you'll get any shit from an employee about a warranty is if you did something obviously wrong like try to force the piston of a caliper back in with a 5lb sledge or something, and if they do give you guff, ask for the district managers phone number. at that point 99% of the employees you will come across will give up and just honor your warranty. and i know this from experience, i work at autozone and most of my co-workers are mouth breathing retards.

Seriously. I had AZ almost decline a return on a defective *NEW* starter for at Z28 camaro because it was defective. We could tell because it wouldn't start the car when we put it on. We took it off, and powered it with just a battery and, what do you know, nothing. You had to apply power and ground and HIT it to get it to activate. The old guy at AZ told us I messed it up because it's a "high voltage" starter and I put the improper voltage to it. That's like automotive fundamental basics, and the guy put up a fight and we had to go to the manager. Yes we eventually got our way but I wouldn't want to do it every time I have to get a warranty honored.

But I am glad that you have a decent AutoZone, just try and keep it that way LOL.
Been a long time. Still alive...

You don't want pads that have lifetime warranty. Think about it, pads are MEANT to wear. If they aren't wearing, then they are damaging your rotors.

That would be if they were any different... They go with the fact 1 out of 10 will actually warranty a set..

OR....the pads they give you are so hard that they will just screw up your rotors....but hey, at least you won't have to buy pads again right?

they do wear up just like any other brake pads

Most people I know forget or don't know they have Life time warranty.

its like one of those items you know has a warranty but don't want to send it out to get it fixed so you just buy another set
