Some asians or "people" in general where english wasn't their first language have the gift of "losing" their accent while singing...but not all have this gift....some still will make Dogs howl haha.

There is a fine thin line between Speaking a language and singing to mimic or make a pleasurable desirable sound. If you have the lungs you can control your vocals to produce any notes.

You can clearly hear her accent when she was describing the different chords. for example when she said A#, it sounded like she said "A" SHAWP instead of "A Sharp" etc. But when she sang all of that almost went away.

Karaoke is a favorite thing for lots of asian cultures. I have lots of Japanese and Filipino friends that have the most heaviest accents...but when we go to Karaoke bars....they don't seem like the same people I walked in with.
