Can you even count how many cops run from one suspect to the next just to beat the shit out of them? I can't.

Some people deserve an ass beating, I won't deny that. And I have no idea what they did beside run from the cops in this video. But for the cops to pull them out and 5 or 6 cops just kick and punch the shit out of them and run and do it to the next guy.....don't you think THAT is a bit brutal?

He never said anything about all cops... just looking to see what the bad ones (or at least the ones that were pushed beyond their limits) have been caught doing.

The wording of the first post implies that there is a majority of corruption in the police system. Certainly, he didn't say outright that all cops beat people but he's making a statement by posting a thread asking for others to post videos of police brutality. There have been a number of threads recently that have painted police in a bad light and I'm just trying to show that there is a second side to things.

Three? Four? Suspects in a car after a long chase for who knows what reason. None of them looked like they were complying but it is hard to see from the chopper. I didn't see a giant dog pile of people go from one to the other... If a suspect is cuffed then it'd be time to move on to get the other one cuffed.

Would you rather the cops hit them with foam nerf clubs or for the cops to wait for the suspect to comply? I'd rather see 100 criminals get forced to comply than see one cop take a bullet.

Its like this if you run and you had some shit you should have never did and they are asking you to stop just stop. the longer you run if you get caught the harder the asskicking will be. So remember if you run dont stop or else. As far as the other cop Yeah hitting him in the face is bad.

Most police when they deal with emotional people and retards who just dont get it. The next person who they deal with passes on to the next person who may have not deserved it. Some cops deal with shit on the workplace and at home so its like 2 jobs.

Eventually after not sitting down and maybe talking out with a psychiatrist or getting evaluated on anger management shit can get out of hand. Especially when they have the means of using deadly force. I honestly think they should get laid more as a form of therapy. Perhaps they wouldnt be so uptight . You can tell the ones that dont get laid their actions show it. Or maybe their wife fucks around they extra hard for no reason no homo.

When my dad was an officer a few years ago, he through a drunk guy through a fence for taking a swing at him.

Then once this guy wouldn't shut up. He kept banging on the cage and screaming fuck you fuck you I'll fuckin kill you blah blah. So my dad slammed on the brakes and the guy broke his nose on the cage

You might call it police brutality. And some things that police do on occasion might be just that. However, 90% of it is what I call, "You don't know"

You don't know what happened before the camera's came on.
You don't know if they have a weapon.
You don't know what police put up with.
You don't know what the people are arrested for.

You just don't know.

there are always asshole cops.....just like there are assholes on this forum and assholes who do whatever job you do for a living. Dont judge the group on a few people.

And the good news is that my father just passed his police exam last saturday, so...
A) I'll be moving back to Iowa in 3 weeks as long as he is cleared medically and
B) More justified police ass kicking stories!! My dad don't fuck around!!

I'm sure that some people do deserve to be beaten...

But here's the thing. Like someone posted up before. Maybe the guy violated some infant. In which case he deserves a beating. If that's the case, we can all say the guy is a sick f*** for violating some helpless infant.

However, the point is that the man is handcuffed. He, at that point, is pretty much helpless. The police officer was pretty much assaulting a helpless man regardless of what he did prior to that. The police officer is NOT the judge, jury, nor executioner.

By violating the law and committing assault, he has violated the law himself. The man was in no way resisting arrest. Like Deev said, maybe if he only hit him once, it'd be justified for disobeying... but repeatedly like that was uncalled for. Especially when like others said, he could have just handcuffed his ankles down.

Again... NOT all police officers are corrupt, but going off of this video, I don't know how many times I've seen police officers come to red light and toss on his sirens. Then as soon as he goes through he turns off the sirens and lights. Or the police officers that block off the entire lane that's going east just to go into Rascal House or Qdoba to grab something to eat. They'll just leave their car there instead of driving to the parking lot that is literally less than 500 feet away.

Can we do anything about this? not really. Maybe report it to the city council... who reports it to the police with your name on it and now you have police officers out there that will look for any excuse to mess with you.

There should be some sort of check and balance to the police system to catch the police officers that abuse their authority.

this happen after 4 or so police officers here in Philadelphia lost their lives in the line of duty... they were shooting suspects that wouldn't stop for the police. at that time to chill the things down 4 PO got fired 1 demoted and 2 in desk duty. after the arbitrary court it was found that no police officer were at fault. the suspects were resisting arrest at the time. there were quite a few witnesses on the ground who testified. (chopper doesn't show shit). everyone got their jobs back about 1 week ago.

ps the Jury was mostly black and Hispanic and 2 or 3 white people. they were unanimous at their verdict....

are there bad dickhead cops out there? yes there are.
