    New TV from Vizio!

I just browed their website and came across this

    http://www.vizio.com/via/

I thought the commercial was funny. It definitely made me lol.

If you take a look at the remote, you'll find its intensely awesome. A tv remote, with a slide out QWERTY keyboard!?

Oh, and the 42" comes it at 899 at costco

My dad has a 50" Vizio Plasma and it kicks some major butt. The picture is perfect and he uses his Dennon remote to control everything.

my old 26" 720p Vizio LCD has phenomenal picture quality. I've seen TV's that cost 3x as much as mine with quality not even CLOSE to the Vizio.

Vizio = probably the most underrated TV brand on the market! = Best value!

regarding the VIA technology... cool for most people, and the remote is neat.... but definitely not for me.

I'm one of those people who thinks paying for television service is an absolute ripoff, and refuse to do so.
I got my 7/1 DSL internet and my desktop computer running as a HTPC with a wireless keyboard/mouse. I never miss an episode of my favorite shows, and I watch a fraction of the commercials paying TV customers are forced to watch.

I've had a 32" vizio plasma for a year and a half now. Love it.

          1080p gaming rocks.

But don't buy plasma tvs. They get really fucking hot, and glare a shit ton. I always recommend vizios at work, but not plasmas

really? i actually prefer plasma over LCDs. i have a dark room with all windows covered up so no light gets through. how hot does the vizio get? my friend has a sony and it doesnt really heat up and my other friend has another plasma tv that doesnt heat too much either (dont know what brand)

for some reason, every plasma I've seen (running an HD source or not) has a ridiculous amount of artifact.

though, I've only seen a couple plasma's in person. one Philips and one Toshiba.

                both were garbage

A lot of people have told me "oh stay away from Vizio's, they're junk". But they can't ever back that up...
