Just like huy009, my 2 accords are JHMCB7. I think all canadian accords are direct from japan cause my dash i got from the scrap yard is also JHMCB7. That's weird cause you would think that importing a car from japan would be more expensive than crossing the border. Question............does this mean that canadian accords have a subtle ''JDM advantage'' over our american counterparts????????? Not a serious question but something to think about.

I like my women like I love my cars, built for comfort and speed........

My 90 LX was made in the US. I think the Japanese made ones are just the same quality level. The reason is most of the parts are from Japenese companies. But, all the newer Hondas and Acuras (except the S2000 and NSX) have domestic made parts because its cheaper than importing. Thats why I feel the newer Hondas are problematic.

                      Example:
Honda CR-V engine fires after the first oil change.

AH HA!!! I have recently discovered a noticeable difference between U.S. and Japan produced 4th gen Accords...

A few years ago we had a really bad hail storm here in Dallas. Since then I had always wondered why my next door neigbor's (JHM) CB7 sustained such severe hail damage, yet mine (1HG) didn't get any at all?

As many of you know, my beloved frost white 92 was totaled last year, and since then I have been parting it out. Well, a friend of mine recently purchased a (JHM) 92 LX and it had an aftermarket sunroof in it. Ultimately we decided to cut a section off of my parts car and weld it into the roof of my buddies Accord to "delete" this hacked up hole in his roof.

Well, long story short...we discovered that the sheetmetal on the roof of my U.S. Accord was substantially thicker and more solid than the sheetmetal of my friends Japan Accord.

The moral of the story: both cars are 92 LX sedans...the only differance between the two is the sheetmetal of my U.S. car is a hell of alot thicker than my friend's Japan Accord.

Obviously, I'm going to be sticking with the U.S. produced cars.

                                JHMCB7 over here.

1993 LX Sedan. That was one of my picky requirements for the next Accord I bought, it had to be JHM. Even though I wasn't able to be too picky with my currect Accord at the time, I was fortunate enough that it was indeed JHM.
