people are still running from cops but now the academy is teaching to not pursue vehicles. To much BS with cops getting in trouble for traffic shit. Most people dont know cops cant actually ever speed or run red lights. Even with the lights on and responding to some guy having a heart attack we cant go over the speed limit. The only time we can go over the speed limit is when going after a speeder and only then can we match their speed. Of course no one listens to BS laws like that....

Twin turbo with AWD is definitely the way to go. I was at a field party which was on a tall hill. My Accord got up no problem but when the cops showed up they couldn't get up with their giant heavy RWDs. Had they had FWD/AWD there would have been a lot of under age arrests :P

Same thing with chasing people on dirtbikes they not suppose but they still do swinging open the doors to knock them off or trying to closeline them. Most feels they are above the law. Well let me just say that about the police in baltimore which is a big reason I really don't like police and they while do anything to make that quota.

I'm not trying to discredit you or anything, but that whole knocking-people-off-dirtbikes-with-car-doors thing seems a little far-fetched. I'm having trouble believing that happens.
Maybe it's different in Maryland, but in North Carolina, there are no quotas. This is a myth. Officers aren't after people to make a "quota;" they're after people who break the law so they can do their job and protect the public from the violators.

Often times officers respond to calls that require a stealthy approach (no lights or siren). In those situations they're trying to get somewhere fast but without the suspect knowing that they're coming. So in those cases they'll run without lights/siren, but to get through an intersection, they'll flip their emergency equipment on just long enough to clear the intersection. This is often mistaken by the public as abuse of authority. Not all is as it seems.

Let me ask you if you do have your lights on and go threw a red light and get into the accident who is accountable for it?
