        You are VW-aware now, Wes.

We're not cool enough to get it here, though.

yea, sometimes i feel like i downgraded but it's nice to get into something more sporty and nicer looking. i love the accord because it's so easy to drive and has freaking cupholders!

Yeah 3rd gen Scirocco not coming because VW doesn't want it to compete with GTI sales.

it's a VW, youre not missing anything but great gas milage and expensive repair costs.

I kinda wish they replaced the GTI with that! Americans seem to like the GTI well enough, but I think we'd love a sportier little hatch like that even more.

He has 2 Corrados now... he's already got that. Actually, 2 supercharged Corrados... so the great gas mileage isn't happening.

The Corrado IS pretty sporty, though. At least it was intended to be a bit of a sports car (though I have a hard time seeing a FWD car as a true sports car...)

a well setup fwd and a good driver will give a rwd setup a run for its money. you'd be crazy if you thought i was going to be daily driving a corrado. that's straight weekend project, any vw is a weekend car

i wouldnt mind a gti vr6, those are pretty nice but as popular as a civic hatch.

The VR6 GTI was always criticized for being too soft and nose-heavy. The original GTI was fun to rip around in, and the 1.8T was the most mod-friendly. I don't know much about the new 2.0T DI engine...

The Mark5 DI? It's nice. Snappy. Low down not much, it's got good pull from 3k-higher. We work on them all day here.

                        life is good.

I find it Ironic that they used GM vehicles in that commercial. Seeing as VW is the GM of Europe. Crap built cars, crap technology. After working for years in an independant shop. You couldn't give me a from 90+
