Heavy boost and hopefully the Vette driver will misshift.

DRQPQUT and LoDollar92LX are both boosted over 500whp.

"fried chicken" flyby is in poor taste

2point6 made his H22 powerful enough to beat a Z06 in a straight line, no turbo.
To make your car faster than a corvette, you're going to need a better power to weight ratio, ensure that you have traction, and know how to drive.

Or race one that's standing still.

Solution: Your driving a 20-17 year commuter car. Dont worry about making it balls fast unless your planning on not having a daily driver anymore.

It depends how it's done, really... it IS possible to put down 300whp, maybe even 400whp, and still have a reasonable daily driver.

Hell, there are bone stock turbo 4 cylinder front drivers out there that are making pretty crazy power... SRT-4, Mazdaspeed 3, Cobalt SS...

With mild modifications, one of those cars could be in the low 13s or high 12s EASILY. A base Corvette driven by the average driver on street tires is a low 13 second car. MAYBE 12s...

250whp (more than those stock cars I listed above make) can be done on a stock F22A block, if it's healthy, and done carefully. 300whp has been done, but I wouldn't expect that to last very long. 250whp turbo with good sticky tires, a clutch that can handle it, LSD (optional, but a good idea), tuned correctly, with a little weight reduction... that could take out a Corvette.

that Mazdaspeed3 is a very quick car, i've see that and an S2000 go head to head and watched the Mazda pull away...fast.

                            this wont end well.

dont try to race corvettes... even people with upwards of 500whp could get beat based on traction... it just depends on the circumstances... and if u have to ask how to make enough power to beat one... im afraid u will be on the wrong end of those circumstances.... just build ur car to enjoy it. otherwsie go out and buy something thats easier to make ridiculously fast.
