I've done 60 on a ramp... but that's with sticky tires, a good suspension, and quite a bit of idiocy on my part as well!

Glad she's ok. The car can be replaced, your neice can't be. I hope she learns her lesson, though. She's lucky that she wasn't hurt. A very convenient way to learn the lesson to respect that vehicle. If she doesn't learn the lesson this time, she may end up getting hurt the next time!


Did that happen up by you, dazz? I was driving around up in Sussex county today when the storm hit hard... holy crap... That was some seriously scary driving, starting around 1pm! Going 30mph in a straight line was scary enough.

thanks deev, yea i know i hope she learns her lesson too. the car is definitely replaceable. she must be made of rubber because she didnt have a scratch on her. yea that happened near the irvington exit on the parkway, 144 i think around 1pm. man tell me about it, i was trying to test drive cars at work and i couldnt do over 35 so i just quit the test drives all together.

I was the only one going East (South?) on Rt 15 around 4pm... snow and fog, and my little white snowball of a car that weighs nothing and had NO traction... I was scared to death! I've already had my accident where I walked away unharmed (my 92 DX was totalled...) My next accident is going to hurt!

I was hoping this wasn't the case. Same thing happened with my sister and she totaled a car my parents bought her for graduation. Its amazing what other people will do to a car bought with opm (other people's money). Hope they make her buy a car to replace it, maybe then she will respect and appreciate having it.
