Me and my boyfriend both drive Hondas.

Long story short, our cars get messed with, harassed, vandalized, you name it, on a monthly basis. Its not like we have a ton of enemies or anything.

People just cant seem to leave our modified hondas alone!

We got our emblems stolen in December, with the paint all scratched off from where they pried them off with knives and screw drivers.

Someone kicked in the Prelude's door and made a dent...

My CB got saran wrapped and tagged with curse words...

Then just yesterday, someone threw a sticky caramel mocha all over the Prelude....

Anyone else have these problems??? or Do I just have a problem that won't ever go away?

Depending on how far your car is from your house, try setting up cameras. A cheap car port may also help a bit depending on your layout. Definitely say something to the local/state police. They may be able to increase patrols in the area.

That sucks big time. I know in my area cars get broken into once a year. Honestly in the past couple years nobody has fucked wit my shit. I also made it clear to friends and family that if i ever found out who fucked wit my car that they would be dead, literally.

At a junkyard parking someone took off my faded old nasty H emblem fro, my trunk. Scratched it too. Not sure why since it looked like shit and it was a junkyard with Hs around..

we're thinking about moving this summer...although we've got so much on our plates now that its overwhelming to even think about.

Plus, most rental houses and apartments dont allow pit bulls....and I cant give away my beloved baby. We have to live somewhere that allows me to keep my pit...which won't be easy.

I've been thinking about an alarm system for my car...and maybe setting some booby traps. like home alone. haha jkjk.

At least put a sticker in the window that says you have an alarm until you have one installed. I once had some dumb kid try to take something from my car while I was standing right next to it. Some people are just that ignorant I guess.

I have found that most people who get their cars fucked with are not without fault. You have to think back to sometime, with someone that you pissed off. Cause no one randomly goes to a car and vandalizes it. Yes, they go and randomly steal it, but when they vandalize it, they are sending you a message.

Also, running from the problem will not work either. Sure you can move X amount of times, but what happens when it occurs again? It makes me wonder how people who live in "bad" nerighorhoods make it through life like they do and they are still standing.

Plus, yes, we would all love to go smash the persons face in, if we find out who it is, but lets face it, we would probably go to Jail. Jail is not nice.

Sorry to hear about that shit Natalie, I live out in the middle of absolute nowhere. I leave my keys in my car, and unlocked at all times. We haven't had a reported theft incident in 5 years in my town.

You could potentially hide a camera or stake out and keep a watchful eye, but who honestly wants to have to resort to that? The alarm gives you a little piece of mind, hopefully they get scared away.

I had my car broken into while it was parked in front of my house, then again while it was in my driveway. My driveway! Had the light on it and everything. And we live in a pretty nice neighborhood, too. First time i thought it was just a random happening and, "ok, i drive a Honda, it was bound to happen" then it happened a 2nd time and i knew it wasnt random. Needless to say i got my alarm working fast. No problems since, but id still like to invest in a 2-way alarm
