I hit 110+ weekly on the way to Atlanta. Granted, it's only when I see absolutely NO cars in front of me.

160+ in our old C6 Corvette...highway again. 140 in our current XLR, and that was a stupid move.

I guess it all depends on the car. In my BMW, 120-130 feels comfortable. In the Corvette, 160 was absolutely nuts. 140 in the XLR was one of the scariest, because of the road.

You can't really compare an Accord to any of those though...

I'd say the problem is alignment. A bad alignment is always unstable.

My CB seems to feel better at 100 than it does at 65

I just did an alignment on my car 2-3 weeks ago too. Car still pulled to the right a little bit but my tires are bad in the front so i figure its that.

No i always drive with safety in mind, I have my seat belt on at all times.

Yes, Camera in hand, and no hands on the steering wheel. The joy of having a brand new front suspension put in.

LOL, that took forever! man you would appreciate the H22 under your hood. haha. I should do a clip but I don't have a camera mount and holding a camera while shifting is, uh, not safe lol. Especially at those speeds.

5th gear right before VTEC hits..I kept going after, but didn't take a pic..Both hands on the wheel in 5th gear VTEC!

The funny thing with my car is...The faster I go, the better the car feels I've buried the speedo past 200km/h on a regular basis, and it never once felt scary..

I find that it's all in the suspension tho, and ride height also plays a major role..And then of course wheels/tires combo, etc. etc...

But I think, as long as you mod your car properly, and you know how to handle your car, top speed run is super fun Just remember, always be safe!

yeeeeaaahh....... We got up to about 130 and I said HOLEY FUCK BALLS!

When I think about it. I want to punch myself in the nuts. I was so stupid.
X2, I think we can all admit we've all done some stupid things at some stage in our life.

Very rarely that I admit it, However about a year after I finished my turbo setup, I happened to be driving home on a quiet night at 1 in the morning.
I was cruising at 100km/h (65mph) and was curious how long it would take for the speed to pick up from 5th.
Anyway I ended up hitting the rev limiter (6500rpm) in 5th, which took a hell of alot less time than I thought it would. (less than 10 seconds) the limiter works out at around 215-230kmh (134-142mph)

Stupidity on my part - Yes, Reckless driving - Yes, Disreguarding others safety - Yes, Did I realize what I'd just put at risk - Yes

Would I every do it again - Hell No

Specially with an H22, if you're not careful you can be doing 100 without even noticing it.
