That question is too broad. What is he going to do w/ the vehicle, Auto-X, Drag, Rice it out? Does he want AWD, FWD, RWD? Import...domestic? Price Range? I think in the import world the Civic probably has one of the largest aftermarket supports out there

Isin't that the truth. Accords get the least support out of any Honda produced cars.

CIVIC!!! but honestly, i would try to get a car with almost NO aftermarket support, so when anything is done to the car, its extra custom!!!

I think that is why a lot of us drive cb7's

I wonder if that would hold an f20c? I mean it only has an 3cyl in it now, so I think it could with some custom work. What the hell do I know though :thumbsdow

                        Most mods?

                        92-95 Civic (Import)
                        87-92 Mustang GT (Domestic)

On a side note...that truck would be so cool, if you could find one.

There are Daihatsus in the US? I never saw one...

And Mike, you beat me to it! Civic and Mustang are the best, and cheapest... I mean, you need to spend good money to do it right, but as Fizz once said "$3000 spent smart on a Mustang will get you 12s"... or something like that.

Other cars that have decent aftermarket support are Firebirds and Camaros, Sentras, 240SXs (the "new Civic"), Neons (I hate to say it...)

Actually, almost any compact cheapo shitbox (civic, sentra, neon, etc...) has a decent aftermarket. As does anything sportscar related.
