              Daily driver = Something you get in every morning and don't have to ask it nicely 5 times to start when it's -20 out at 6am. Something with heat and everything that works.

              Basically, a reliable commuter car/grocery getter.

                Reliable=Get in and go.
                Creature Comforts=PS, A/C preferably.
                Looks good=Still quick.
                Driven daily=Duh.

                life is good.

                  All of the above plus it being roomy enough so that your comfortable and can carry a decent amount of stuff, it's cheap to insure, and it rides comfortably. And to quote Mr. Jeremy Clarkson, “its not powered by some V17 quad turbo that does half a mile to the gallon and runs on diced lions.”

                  Yea, that'll work.

                    Slammed to the ground, Horrible gas mileage, very expensive parts, minimal luxury. All of these things make a great daily driver

                        Something that satisfies your personal needs yet reliable enough to take the abuse. For example, I prefer: 5-speed with no ac, power steering, or cruise control. Auto bores me and I've never used those commodities to begin with for the exemption of power steering, which I can do with out. But ask a married man with 2 kids and I'm sure he would have a different output.

                              any toyota or lexus as long as the throttle doesnt stick. all my parent's toyotas were perfect for DD, powersteering, cold a/c, handled like crap and could make it over speed bumps.
