The area they are referring to is called "The Ridge Cut". It's a fucking mess no matter what time of day you go. There's atleast 5 wrecks anytime it rains. People here can't drive worth a shit. If it sprinkles, you better leave at least 15 mins early.
Yeah, I get nervous as hell riding through there with Nic.

Not a single NJ location on there... though I'm near the Schuylkill area of PA that's fairly high on the list.

The NJ Turnpike gets brutal where 6 lanes (divided, 3 and 3, one side cars only, the other side allowing trucks and busses, as well as cars) merge into 3. That's usually backed up bumper to bumper for 5-7 miles, starting at 4:30pm and clearing around 6:30.

Is there ANYWHERE in the country with a decent commute?

I really hope I get a decent job in the city. I would love to move to Manhattan and ditch my car. More trouble and $$$ than it's worth....

And I don't think a place on the list matters. The two worst commutes I've ever been on were my commute from the Bronx to BK (via the FDR, no tolls) which took 3.5 hours to cover about 10 miles, and out in DC/VA on the 295 south... I traveled about 4 miles in 1.5 hours

                        Fuck that!

Train or bike all the way.

I hate when they do these countdowns and start at #1. This article is generally poorly written.
