If we can get it shipped for a low amount, I'm sure we'd all chip in a little to make it happen...
Its not worth it, It will be around $170 for shipping. BUT if you guys want to do a relay I can get it across the border to Champlain NY, then hand it off ro some one who can bring it closer etc.

I'm up near the NJ/NY border just about every day, and I live down south. I could easily take it the entire length of NJ at least, even when I'm busy.

I live just below Charlotte, NC. I'd could drive to Virginia border and bring it back to Rock Hill and Shag could get it from me or something. I'd have to use the wife's Taurus with its huge trunk though.

Once you think about all this traveling though, would it still be cheaper to do it this way or those of us willing to drive just help with initial shipping?

Well now that you think about it, it would be somewhat expensive for everbody to just use gas to drive. I mean it costed me about 200 in gas driving to the AFM meet but I get kinda crappy gas mileage. If we could get 17 people to pitch in 10 bucks then we could do it!

Yeah, the only way money would be saved is if everyone traveled as much as Deev normally AND traveled a generally north to south direction. $170 / $2.70 per gallon = 63 gallons * 26mpg = 1638 miles / 2 because most of us would travel "there and back" = 819 total miles in distance that the tranny moves south. I think we'll be better off sending paypal bucks to have it freighted in.

Yea I mean if everybody scraped up $10 bucks to help a fellow member out with hard times that would be great. Im not working right now and I am going to shoot him $10 to a paypal account for him.

Just a Question, How do we even set up a Account to put the $? I do have a paypal account, but should we sent the $ to the person shipping it? I dont know never done anything like this before.

I say we find a neutral trustworthy member to send the money off to then they can send it off to the person with the transmission.
