getting sick and tired of my car !!!!!!

wel for the past few weeks ive been saving up for an engine swap. when i realized that no one could help me i just decided to use the money i had to fix whatever i need. so here's the list ..

    1.timing belt +water pump
2.tune up stuff (wires, fuel filter etc. )
    3. power steering rack
    4. transmission front seal (shop quoted me 350$)
    5. auto tcu
    6. exhaust leak has to be welded
    7. new o2 sensor
    8. radiator fan
    9. thermostat
    10. all susp. parts need replacing (struts, springs, bushings, ball joints)

now since i cant do any of the work myself. having a shop do the timing belt job, transmission fix, and power steering is going to run me about 1000$. probably more. and its 350$ just to fix the transmission seal, i dont even know if thatll fix my tranny. right now it wont go into reverse and its skipping 2nd gear. so thatll be more money to fix. i cant even change my car to 5 speed because i wont know wtf ill be doing. the tranny shop quoted me 500$-1000$ for them to change my car to 5-speed and i have to buy all the parts myself.

im getting tired of new problems coming up. i only make 150$ a week so i dont have the means to fix everything. im really just about to give up and sell it. but i know that no one will buy it because its a complete piece of shit and needs a lot of work. the interior is clean so i really dont want to junk it.

what do you guys think i should do .. i fucking love this car and id hate to give it up but i dont think i have much of a choice.. any thoughts?

350$ to fix a little tiny seal that costs 20 bucks . FUCK. and thats just to fix the leaking transmission. wont even fix whats actually wrong with it. it was embarrasing telling the tranny fixing people "ill try and manage with a busted seal for a couple of weeks, it should hold up" then having to push it out of their shop because it wouldnt go into reverse. my gf just shook her head lol

EFF payments anyway man. Look at it this way, if you have that shop mend up the trans, it's still about the same as a newer car payment+insurance on so-so credit. Trust me, I already went down that route. Don't go if you don't have to

Credit is a good thing. But I still hate it most of the time. Bleh.

none of what you need to do is hard if you take the time to fix it.

hell, if i still lived right there i would say come up to me and we could do it but lifes a bitch and i had to move. Jump onto FLAccords and see if anyone around you is willing to help you out. Felipe might know someone local.
