WTF is Steak and Shake making relish out of?

Went to lunch at Steak and Shake yesterday on our way to see "The Princess and the Frog" with the muse, shortgirl and the newbie. I'm not a big S&S fan, but when I saw a Chicago style dog on the menu, I had to have it. (It does not get the visualpoet seal of approval. it wasn't horrible, but it lacked a few things to be Chicago).


The relish frightened me a little when the server set my plate down. Sorry it's fuzzy, my phone camera suck sometimes.

That's some scary relish. A&W used to make a kickass Chicago dog (around here, it's not common... so ANY Chicago dog has a shot at being considered good!) They stopped with the long peppers though... and that's what made it for me!

I boycotted S&S when they stopped selling the lime shake. It was the only reason I went there. This is literally the first time in over five years I've been in one.
