Well guys post up your ups and downs of 2009. The good and bad. Lo bueno y lo malo! In your life

Bad- Work stressing me out big time(continues to 2010)
I woke up one day with ringing of the ears and still have it after 9 months
My daughter fell off her bike and broke both her arms
I gained 25lbs
AFM09 stressed me out to much

Good
Still have a job
AFM was great
Hanged out in Dec with all my accord communities
Bought a 5th gen wagon
Found my lost pic of me and Ali(had it missing for 3 years)
But the one thing that topped it off was when we all pitched in to help one of our own in time of need..nightwolf

how did last year go for you guys?

Good-
-still with the love of my life
-got a decent suspension set up finally
-swapped a motor by myself(with some help from my fellow UGS members)
-still have my manager job

Bad
-got back $19 for my refund
-the cool manager we had got fired now we have some douche bag fool who lets people get away with murder.

Bad:

Got laid off from a job 2 weeks after I started (along with 20 other people).
Hit a patch of ice and slid into a curb, destroyed the suspension on my 93' LX auto.
Wife had 2 seizures within 2 weeks after being seizure free for over 1.5 years.
Could only afford for my wife to fly up and visit family for christmas/new years, not both of us.
Car got broken into and had stereo, GPS, cell phone, and $216 worth of rentasl tool stolen. Estimated value was $700; after deductible, got a $192 check from insurance.


Good:
Bought my 91' EX 5 speed.
Got Married.
Moved to Texas.
Got a well paying contract job at Dell, which got extended by 5 months because I'm awesome.
Adopted a cat.
Bought my wife a car that wasn't a domestic (her dad managed to pick out 2 unbelievably unreliable domestics for her in 2 years).
Finally bought my own guns (my dad would never buy my one, "there is no need"). Mossberg Maverick 88 12ga and a Marlin XL7 243 Winchester.
CB suspension is almost fully restored (will be once I replace wheel bearings next week).
Wife got a good full time job with full benefits.

Bad-
Don't get me started. I'll let the Prozac and Xanax do their job.

Good-
The swap coming along well. The CB will be ready to tear up the streets in April for the MI Spring Meet. Getting back with the ex girlfriend.

honestly i dont see nothing bad about this year, i learned from all my experiences.

Good:
Had a good year at work
Paid off my credit card
Divorce was finalized
Saw some of my very favorite bands
Reconnected with some old friends

Bad:
Work leaves little time for anything else
Another year without a steady girlfriend (you'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now...)
The CB7 still sits unfixed
Got the swine flu
It was my last year to be in my 20s



Overall, 2009 wasn't all that eventful for me. I suppose that's good.



Felipe, your daughter broke BOTH arms? That sucks! The poor kid!

1.finished school & got handed a big bill
2.got a low paying job in a bad shop
3.got my ASE
4.went to ATL
5.went to TN
6.totalled my favorite wagon
7.lost my mom in another accident
8.left my low paying job
9.got another wagon thanks to people I know
10.got used by a chick

My 2009 started pretty good actually since my daughter was born in Sept 2008 but it steadily got worst half way thru....

Bad
Got into really bad martial problems which added alot of stress.
Got put on high blood pressure pills
Had some financial problems
Got into huge fights with the wife which lead to a much needed separation.
After the break up she decided to move to Canada and take our daughter with her.
My daughter leaving to Canada on 12/28/09

Good
Still have a stable job
My daughter bringing my family together
Now have a stronger family bond and respect
Finished my soul searching
Learned when to let go
My job being bought out by a China company = BIG $$$ for me
Started to work out again

2010 is mine to conquer!

the good:
moved in w my girl
go her a car
went to pr for vacation
fixed a few cars
built a few motors

the bad:
might have my license susp for 5 years
got fired of my 2 1/2year job (because of #1)
got 20 stitches in my left arm
my girl cant get a job because she has to be my taxi now

Bad:
Mainly problems with the CB. Spent $2000 on mandatory repairs, and got my insurance jacked up.
Blew my MBA applications by about 6 months, have to apply for 2011.
Had a bike & system stolen ($1000 worth of stuff)

Good
Got a 690 on my GMAT
Relationship w/gf is great. I am so happy.
Got a reduction in my rent.
On pace to save a lot of money (selling the CB + paying off last amount of CC debt hopefully this month).

Overall 2009 wasn't bad. Way better than 2008.
