2010 Calendar

Will be ready tomorrow.

I've been working on it today, but I ran into a snag with the image sizes. about 85% of the submissions were improperly sized, so I had to go in and mess with the dimensions, DPI, etc.

I've got it down now, though... and I only have a few more images to go through. I've selected the 12, as well as the cover image.


Tomorrow, the calendars will be available to order.

How long do you think it'll be before people start asking who's in it?


Before anyone asks... be patient. You'll see tomorrow. You'll be able to see all pages of the calendar when it's posted.

There were actually quite a few very good submissions, and I had to reject a few that I really liked. Some of them came down to "too many red cars" or "there's a weird tree in the background taking my eye away from the car". That's just among the ones that were submitted properly. There were some that I didn't even look at... some that didn't even say who they were from!

Honestly, every submission I got featured a very nice car. The artistry of the shot (as well as how well the shot applied to a certain season, as that plays a role in my decision-making) is what set them apart.

I don't ship these out... so you'll actually get the calendar in a reasonable time!

I will be doing the decals again very soon, though. My New Years resolution is to mail things out on time this year (that includes my bills... I have late notices due to me forgetting to mail out payments, not a lack of funds!)
