yea the cd5 side skirts look great but the legend lip takes the cake for front bumper. people who say it doesnt flow need to get their eyes checked

Time to sound off on these Legend lips.

I hate the 91-93 sedan lip.
I hate the 94-95 sedan lip.
I hate the 94-95 coupe lip.

I only like the 91-93 coupe lip.

They're not bad lips for our cars. They're cost effective, and they're quite durable. An easy, slap on modification.

I agree that the sides of the 91-93 Legend coupe lip flow better than the front does.

While the mouth of every Legend lip does not quite match any CB bumper, the mouth on the 91-93 coupe lip is beveled. This allows it to appear passable when mounted on a CB bumper, because the mouths kind of blend together.

Then there are those flares on the 91-93 Legend lip (both coupe and sedan). These flares, on both sides of the lip's mouth, do not match the CB front bumper curves. Not at all.

The 91-93 Legend sedan lip does not flow at all. The sides are not long enough. The mouth has sharp edges. Then, to top it all off, those stupid flares that do NOT match on our bumpers.

The 94-95 Legend sedan lip fits well, and does away with those front flares. The mouth is also beveled. But the mouth is very wide, and does not match the CB front bumper at all.

The 94-95 Legend coupe lip has those fog light cut-outs, which lie half on the lip and half on the 94-95 KA8 bumper. There is no cut-out like this on the CB bumper. Even with a fog light-equipped CB bumper, the 94-95 Legend coupe lip fog light cutouts do not match. This yields poor visual flow. This lip is also longer than the CB bumper. So many negatives outweigh the positive feature on this lip - namely, its aggressiveness.

IMO, the 91-93 Legend coupe lip flows best on 90-91 CB bumpers. It takes less bending and flexing to make it look passable on a 90-91 CB bumper than an 92-93 CB bumper.

the opening in the legend lip kills it for me.... i actually have a few legend lips and i prefer my 5th gen lip... the look is absolutely more timeless.


its not trendy and it goes unnoticed by most people who dont know what they are looking at.

Is it me, or does the Xenon lip almost resemble a legend lip with an additional curve and a nice transition piece in the middle?

It's nice, and falls under a best mod of 2009. Not jumping on the band wagon though. I'm going still rock the Legend lip. Call me corny or old fashioned, it's still fly.
