looking for a watch for the misses. opinions wanted

well, i got a zales ad in the mail, and i was just browsing through for the hell of it. shes wanted a watch, but never pursued it. i wanna get one for her, but i checked a few stores and i cant seem to find what i was looking for anywhere.


i liked a couple bulova watches, and even zales didnt have them instore. what do you all think would look the best on a ladies' wrist?

I honestly don't like any of them. I guess if I had a gun to my head and I had to choose I'll go with #2, its the simplest one in my opinion. But you can go with 1 if she loves the diamonds.

Number 1 is too flashy
Number 2 has weird numeric symbols
Number 3 is very nice and simple
Number 4 the black background doesn't just match the silver outline

i dont like the way those watches are made. If you can spare the cash go for a Seiko. those look nice dont get me wrong but my brother has one it it just feels cheap. i have a seiko and its like 3lbs. For a guy thats great and i know they make badass girl ones too...lighter of course

I have a Tiffany watch that looks very much like #2, so I agree with guitarplayer825 on that!

I dig #4, personally... but it would depend on the woman wearing it. It's not something everyone would be able to pull off, I dont' think.

The one you chose is very nice, though. As long as it's delicate and feminine looking, it should look great.

Yeah, this is a super subjective question. I personally don't like a lot of diamonds/stones on my watches and neither does my fiancee. This was the last watch I got her:

I think tasteful bling is better though...all else equal. You're not buying a $50k Rolex with 5 carats of diamonds on it. I would go for the simpler one with diamonds on the face for the hour markings. My opinion.
