xbox live problems

So my brother recently picked up an xbox and when we try and play MW2, we cant join each others partys, or invite each other. Weve both setup up routers so that we have open NAT.

Any suggestions? I tried googling, but not much help out there for after you set up your nat and are still having problems.

I'm not quite sure about you joining each others games but you cannot be in a party while playing MW2. Or more correctly some game types.

most game types will allow partys.
most of those will NOT allow party chat.
few game types do not allow partys at all.

wtf you can join partys and play team death match? we cant even just regularly invite each other. We have to no problems playing with other people on our team.

yes they did. almost everyone i now who had a modded xbox got banned. some didnt even own MW2. they ban the xbox itself. they dont ban your gamertag at all (which i find stupid). so you break xbox live rules, and your xbox gets banned instead of xbox live account. it makes no sense whatsoever

btw make sure you got the update for the game. i know ps3 had some party problems so check to see if xbox does too

yup. i was doing a team match and my friend was doing it to everyone. in the end they learned to not shoot him. shit was funny. from what i know you dont get banned on ps3 for it though unless they changed it

The great thing is, if they dont shoot or knife you, you can still knife them lol. After I heard about it, me and 3 friends went into rooms and ALL did it. People were getting so pissed, pretty funny. I only did it a few games and haven't done it since though

LOL yea its fucked up. me and my friend had a one of one. i'd knife for the hell of it. although we played against this one dude who would never die to it. maybe some new hack?

I got 5 tripple kills in 1 game doing it, it was amazing haha
