The rewelding the mount crap for the CB7 is only when going from auto to manual, BTW. The most modification you have to do for any bolt-in swap in a CB (sticking with the original transmission configuration) is to tap one new hole.

i loved the 87 camry that i mobbed around. it never broke down on me and i maxed it out once down a hill at 88mph.

great mileage, comfortable, cold a/c and i lieterally threw that thing around corners. one time i almost popped the tire off the rim because i understeered so hard into a corner bhahahahaha.

Deev, this thing was damn near brand new. Aside from the dirty engine bay, it had been detailed by our shop so the carpet was all vac'd and shampooed, etc.

The engine is a 2S-E ... and yeah Deev... 3SGTE is a bolt in affair.. literally.

I had a 5SFE (1991 Celica GT-S donor) bolted into mine and I didnt have to change a thing.. none of this "cut off and reweld the mount" HOnda bullshit, unbolt engine from 1983, bolt in engine from 1991.

Any of the S series engine are basically a direct fir. a 5SFE is easy to find and easily boostable.

from what remember 9years ago) the 5sfe turbo didnt put out great numbers. granted all you needed were the 3s manifold and a few other things and you were boosted. know if burien still makes their turbo kit?
