I think giving the finger might have something to do with my inability to find the horn quickly... the finger is ALWAYS first!

I need to get a frickin laser shot in my eyes... My glasses aren't all that strong, but when I wear them, I have terrible peripheral vision. Not to mention the fact that the Fit has 2 or 3 idiotic blind spots (I actually lost an entire oncoming schoolbus in the A pillar one time!)

LMAO at the lost bus. That's pretty bad. We could hook you up with some angled mirrors in the front of your glasses to assist with the peripheral, but then you've got other blind spots behind the mirrors.

What frustrates me the most is that several people had good reasoning to not have this law (turbos, supercharger, V8s, etc) and there is no-one you can take this reasoning to.
Its like one high offical person came up with the idea and no-one can say no to this person or try to justify for not having this law (or point out that is un-fair).

Right. I sympathize with the people hurt by street racers, but I'd bet that less than 1% of those accidents had anything to do with nitrous.
The accident this all stems from was pretty bad. Killed a couple of people and left one young woman permanantly disabled. The driver that caused it had had at least 8 beers, then decided to race a souped up Camaro another guy at the bar had. Driver one had a 2004 GTO with intake, full exhaust, racing slicks, nitrous and some other mods. His wife was in a chase car with someone else and saw the whole thing. She commented on the tragedy of watching her husband and the father of two children lose his life in a street race, and moments later told police "That other boy didn't have nothing.".

Don't outlaw nitrous. Reqiure an IQ test to obtain a driver's license. The roads will be safer for 2 reasons... no idiots behind the wheel... and about 95% fewer cars on the road! (lots of busses and bicycles, though...)
