Most likely, whether it was busted before shipping or not, they will claim that the damage occured during shipping, and they'll refer you to UPS to get the issue resolved. UPS tends to be pretty good about backing their shipments. Also, not sure about FedEx, but UPS automatically insures everything up to $100 at no extra cost to you. How much did you pay for the unit? if it was in the $100 range, you might want to just go talk to them explain the situation and be done with it.

This might be true. the email from them sounds like they knew that the box was beat up but felt that there should be no problem with it. from the looks of the amp it might work give it a try and if it don't work email them and tell them that it does not work and want your money back. I had the same issue before with these guys and told me the same thing. try it....I did and didn't work. they sent me a replcament and it works great.

I replied back to them telling them that this was a birthday gift to someone and that how am I going to present this to them. I might as well just wrap this with a trash bag and say "heres your present" The point is that I've been told that this thing was brand new in box and this shouldnt look like this or have any damage prior to being shipped.

i bought my kenwood 4channel amp from another company on ebay, and the box was near perfect. this just looked like a gorrilla trying to get out of its cage.

i aint even gonna bother to test it. sure it may work right now, but who knows how this thing is gonna work in the long run. its good i contacted as soon as i got it and took pictures.

if they lag on replying to my email with pictures im gonna call them tomorrow. ill find a way to get my money back or another brand new unbroken one.

edit: fuck waiting for tomorrow, I already filed a dispute with paypal for damaged goods. It should grab the sellers attention.
