    car club invite/ H22?

Well this guy at work has a car club and it has about 25-30 cars. He asked me if I was interested. I am not sure cause well I want an H22 accord but i guess we have to start some where. Well I will be going to see everybody and see what it up tomorrow night. Any opinions on car clubs? He tells me these people are chill and not all crazy. They go and meet and race at the local track which is legal. I was wondering on opinions.

Well I have decided I will get an H22 and manuel swap this summer. I am probly just going to take out a loan and get a lot of things done. Suspension work and rims and tires as well as some other odds and ends I can't think of right now. To me it is like buying a new car but just not as expensive. I am thinking I will just try to find a race company over here to get a H22 built and boosted. Does anyone know of a place in San Diego or close that could do this for me? How about prices? I can't wait to be an acclude

i agree 100% just work and save for it. you take loans out for school, a new car, a home, emergencies, but not to *hookup* a car.

Exactly...what happens when God forbid you crash, or hydrolock your motor. Insurance isn't going to cover the value of all that, since insurance sucks like that usually...so you're going to be left with a loan payment on parts that you no longer have.

Well you all have made a very good point. I would be pissed off if something happend to my motor or car and I still had to pay for it. But in a way I am not "hooking" up my car. I am making it "new". The motor has 152,xxx miles on it and the tranny (auto) is going cause i beat on it. Well I am still not sure i guess. I need to think about it more cause maybe I should just wait save some money and be the first CB7 rollin with a K24/K20 motor and tranny .

Well the club meet went well I will be going again this week. I can get a carbon fiber hood VIS OEM for 200 from the president dude. I was looking into the extreme gt but OEM will do for that price . It will also be a sick hook up on a body shop too. So I can take my wing off and get things shaved.

I am going to work my ass off now. I get paid by flat rate and if I don't do work that is it I don't make money. Well I would boost it too but i am looking at like 1500 right? and tuning or if anyone had a base map for like an APEX I but still not sure. If I could find it cheaper I would do it no problem. Also the main reason I can't boost smog. I have been pulled over twice for my exhaust and both time they have asked me to pop my hood. Everything is CARB legal so no problems. If I pop my hood and a turbo is there OH SHIT there goes my CB7 .

I am just very impatient with some things and my car is one of them I LOVE MY CB7!!! I want to work civics, keep up with V8's, and beat ALL stupid V6 mustang owners LOL. Well
