I got a note in my mailbox from a neighbor (unsigned) alerting me to this fact. It's upsetting... because for the past 6 years that I've lived here, there's been NO trouble whatsoever! I don't know exactly what happened, but it sucks!

Seems that my cars are fine, my carport seems undisturbed, and nothing is missing that I've noticed. I guess they have no interest in my little place!

Time to sharpen my sword.

People get robbed and shot at least once a week in my neighborhood. I just stay inside. Fun way to live

That was the neighborhood I grew up in. My house was broken into twice... once when we were sleeping. My car window was broken once. One car was stolen. I got jumped by 7 guys while playing guitar outside (they stole the guitar... I later got it back when two girls that witnessed everything saw where they dumped it, and brought it back to me). I've had bikes stolen numerous times (and recoverd... ) Some thugglet stole my friend's bike, and we watched him do it. I ran outside with my sword (I was 16... at least i wasn't an adult bearing an illegal weapon outside!), and my friend flagged down a passing minivan, hopped in, and chased the guy down. 10 minutes later, my friend rolled up on his own bike... said the kid nearly shit himself, and just dropped the bike and ran.
