    I'm Thinking Sprint.

Why? Because its really one of two options. I had Verizon for about a month and PAID to cancel the service. Customer Service was horrible and I got reception NO WHERE.

AT&T - I got a pretty good plan with my Motorola Q9h. LOVED the phone. My parents also got their own plan with AT&T. THEY(AT&T) fucked up along the lines some where. Long story short, they never transferred my line with my parents and sent my bill to collections, instead of adding it to my parents. I paid the bill before it affected my credit. But now my PARENTS let their shit go and it went to collections, I want to make my own line again, THEY tell me I have a previously canceled line and want $700 as a down payment. BULL SHIT. I decided I dont want any of their shitty customer service, over priced plans or over rated phones. Phoey.

    Nextel: I HATE MY NEXTEL!

T-Mobile: Pretty decent prices, SHITTY PHONES.

I'm done with Nextel (boost). I have the i776 and its the BIGGEST piece of shit ever to be manufactured next to the Cadillac Cimarron.

I am really liking this BlackBerry Tour. The BB app world looks great too.

Any one have sprint? Thoughts about them?

Sprint's got less coverage than Verizon and they use 1900MHz more than 800MHz which doesn't penetrate solid materials (buildings etc) as well as the longer wave 800MHz does. Verizon uses 800MHz more by default.

Sprint is cheaper than Verizon and roams on their network at no extra cost. I see no problems here.

And yes, Sprint owns Nextel but the networks are not compatible.

I hate Sprint for the lack of reception in my house, but the service elsewhere has been reliable.

I love my Palm Pre, even though it feels cheaper than a Daewoo.

The technology is COMPLETELY different. Nextel DOES NOT run on 3G. Nextel runs on the same archaic technology its been using for the past ten years or so called iDEN. WiDEN on few select phones. The only true GSM 3G coverage would be found on their hybrid phones. With PTT using iDEN and phone using sprint. I find my nextel useless any way as I only have ONE other person I know that uses it as well.

So I take it you like sprint? How is their customer service. I heard it sucked beyond belief. But from what I've been through with Verizon and AT and shitty T, it cant be as bad.

I really haven't had any problems that I wasn't able to resolve. The only thing that really stands out is one time I called about something for my fiancee's account. At the end of the call I was offered an extra 50 or 100 anytime minutes for each of her 4 lines. No other details. Now, it was also my fault for not asking but accepting this offer renewed all the contracts. It took 2 phone calls (not very painful) but I was able to get it reversed.

And a good story follows: I was receiving two discounts, 10% loyalty and 15% employer. Well, policy changed and they were only allowing one discount per account. Fine, I called them up and said that since I renewed my contract with two discounts I expected to recieve two discounts for the length of my contract. Solution was I was credited the difference. So, I got a one time credit for the cost difference for the remainder of the contract, 1 discount vs. 2. Seems fair to me.

But yes, their customer service has been improving but I've never had a billing problem. I have no problem recommending them.

my experience as a cell phone sales man at best buy, i hate sprint. Customer service sucks, network sucks....

They have a couple of good phones out right now but they aren't going to be as good as they can be because the network won't keep up with them.

I have t-mobile and they have some pretty good phones. i just got the memoir and the Blackberry Bold 9700 just came out. you should check that out. bad ass

Verizon hires way too many stupid people for their customer support. TRUST ME!

Ive used Sprint for near to 8 years now, i rarely have signal issued and my phone worked after the big hurricane couples years back when everyone elses phone didnt. Im typing on my Sprint Moto Q rigth now and their EVDO web is pretty quick too. Never had billing issues so never had to fight with cust svc. Their pricing is cheaper than most offering the similar plans. I have nothing bad to say about SPrint plus they have several nice smart phones including a couple using the Android OS.

You can get t-mobile sell the phone they have and get an unlocked phone. That should give you tons more options as far as phones go. Even with the available phones t-mobile has good ones.
