    Small garage ftl....

What happens when you want to relocate an engine/transmission/t.c to the front of the garage with limited spacing?

Lets see if anyone can guess what I did. Hands got dirty so didn't take any pictures of the process.

Did you take everything a part and walk it around the garage?

i have the same problem, the cherry picker is the fold up type and it barely fits between the car and the wall.

i have to roll the car back and forth in order to work on it and put the engine in and out.

I've lowered the car as well as dropped it leaving about 1 inch from the brake rotors to the ground. Neither worked.

I think I have better planning than that. Engine/transmission/t.c were shipped that way.

I had a cherry picker too but due to lack of space I had to get rid of it. Looks like I'm gonna be jacking up the car's front and dropping that on the engine. Atlease the car is easy to work on.

Oh and I took apart the suspension to get it through to the midpoint. Now I just gotta find time to do the same for the front lol

            Build thread??

What kind of car is that. The yellow color and brembo brakes makes me think it's an evo 8

I've got a double garage to work on my cars BUT I have to share it with two tractor mowers and a fridge. Luckly it's deep enough to still walk around.

Having a garage you can work in is nice. I'm lucky enough to have a room mate with a huge garage. Even with my project he can still park his Camaro in there.

But garage space is a must when you want to do certain projects.
