Hyundai is going to be calling out Mercedes soon. And will probably beat their- wha?

And they're at it YET again.

    Yeah i'd tap that.

Although the VS460 touch is a little much.

Damn Hyundai is getting good at the luxury game. I think they'll stand a fighting chance against the Germans.

People buy a status car to be a status symbol

Cars like that are as much, if not more, about the emblem on the front as they are about how well they are made or how well they ride (at that level anyway)

That is such a blatant knock off of the LS460, it should be banned.

Having said that, I looked at the Genesis sedan, and it is very nice for a Hyundai, but it is nowhere near on par with the cars it CLAIMS to be a competitor for. It is about at the same level as the Acura TL, and actually slightly more expensive too.

                  Of course it is.

I look at it like this, I'd buy a kennith cole watch over a cartier. Why? because I'd rather drop 200 dollars on a watch than two grand.

I LOOOOVEEEE the LS460, but when I have 80+K to spend on a car, its going to be a GTR. If I can have something that satisfies me just as well, for $30K less, im going to take a closer look.

Hyundai never really claimed anything with the Genesis. When it came to comparison, they emphasized the fact that its got more interior volume than a seven series. I personally think it was pushed on as a "BMW and Benz" killer by the media.

I really do like this car. if it starts at 50K like its claimed. I'd love to be able to consider it.

X2, check out the the drl's, seems like it has Audi style LED's and angel eyes.

Anyways Hyundai definatly stepped it up this past couple years.

shit...I might be buying a hyundai...I mean even if you use the 100k warranty...still worth it. 100k 10yrs

100k...that's what my accord had when I first bought 'er.

A nurse up here bought the new genesis...he LOVES it...he used to drive big body muscle cars, and he says it doesn't have the same feel...for a dd it's pretty good...except the elect throttle

hyundai is stepping up the game for sure! that's always good!
