In moderation, I think these kind of educational videos are great for toddlers.

Using them in place of a sitter, or using them without any sort of good 'ol fashioned one-on-one parent child learnin' is NOT acceptable.

You have to be a sad parent to expect this type of product to actually spare you responsibility from playing with, teaching, and ultimately enriching your child.

and not learning to speak spanish...well I agree I think if you live here you should speak english...but alas...this is a lost battle...just learn spanish. It isn't that hard

Yes, Spanish-speaking people are not all "Spanish". That could have been worded more apropriately (and you do not need an apostrophe when pluralizing a word).

However, saying that someone should learn how to speak English to live in America is hardly racist. If someone wants to live in this country, work in this country, and participate in the day-to-day activities that happen in this country... learn the language! Americans ARE ignorant, and most speak only one language. Americans SHOULD learn Spanish, and probably French... as we have bordering countries with at least parts of them that hold those languages as their official languages.
