There is a new player in town.

I have a Mytouch 3G(G1 without the keyboard) and the possibilities of what i can do is unreal. I must say Google did an amazing job with Android. Im really excited to see what comes of this new partnership.

I'll stick with my iphone for now, as it still does all I could want it to do... but I'll definitely be keeping my eye on the droid. Once it's released, accepted, supported, and stable, I may go that route. Plus, the name is cool as hell.

The mytouch3g was number 1 on the list, with that number 1 spot, if I remember correctly, having a pretty significant gap between itself and number 2.

i agree with the op. unless apple does something drastic with their software platform their market share is most likely going to drop. don't forget that android is open source and free for any third party to develop apps for or re-code as needed. verizon is the largest wireless provider in the usa as far as subscribers go and having a joint project with google will only be for the better for the market in general...competition leads to innovation.

I read that same article and i think that it was a one sided article as all the phones listed as safe were all Samsung phones i believe with the exception of one Blackberry i think.

Plus im sure its not any more significant then taking a two hour plane ride.
