O2 sensor question

so i have a 93 civic that originally was the D16z6 but i swapped it out for a D15b7 and the corresponding computer (p06)

it failed smog horribly.

Down to the nitty gritty, the oxygen sensors have two different part numbers at the dealer but NGK/NTK offers the same part number for both applications. what gives?

I would assume the hx one would be different.

hx uses a form of wideband I think

well, i didnt really look at the HX, i compared a DX and a EX.

I believe the HX sensor is a 5 wire not a 4 b/c of the wideband, if that helps.

i just looked on alldata at school today and the o2 sensors are the same.
