when you get to talking with the part of the domestic crowd that thinks domestics are the world, and anything else just doesnt work right? I was talking to a guy down the hall, and his friend was on the phone, and he handed me the phone, and said it was his friend... which i knew was one of these people who are totally into themselves, and if its not a ford, it sucks. So he was talking to me, and no matter what i say, his only comeback was "why dont you get a real car" and "then you can beat those little stupid ricers." I said...do you really think its a true competition... a 4cyl economical civic, against your built up mustang. What was his answer...nothing. LOL I just think it is funny to actually talk to these boneheads cuz it is just so funny how people are so stubborn to actually beleive something else than they were told. Thats my useless rambling for the night.

Yeah, I just look at it as a form of entertainment. I am up in michigan right now, so Hondas are obviously the minority up here, and I love telling people that I have a honda.

Also when I was talking to that dude on the phone, I was like why then did I just win an autocross in 4th out of 25 cars, and many of them were the nice mustangs or camaros. And its only my 2nd autocross. People are just so stupid.

that's because most domestics are built to only perform well in a straight line. but who needs good handling anyways?

Yeah it is funny. I was talking to my friends roommate the other day and he is one of those "If it ain't ford or chevy" people. He was saying how hondas are crap and every other japanese manufacter is crap. I told him that if he took every japanese part off of his truck that it wouldn't run. He was like "well, yeah whatever." Kinda shut him up though. I don't understand why it has to be a contest between domestics and imports. We are all in the quest for speed so to speak. I like imports. I like domestics too. My passion is for imports but I still like muscle cars too. I don't see what the big deal is. Cars are cars. I do think it is cool for a B18 civic to take down a Z06 (Which I actually saw once!) but that doesn't mean I don't like Z06s. Anyway, It is kinda funny!

what was your merk running time wise then? This makes me miss mine so bad. I had a similar incident when this dumbass in a stock v6 camaro always talked shit on my xr, one day we raced, and he never talked shit on the merk again.

Okay ill admit it I was once into the 90-95 5.0 mustangs so bad But when you look at it no matter how much I tried to maintain that fuckin car it just broke down.

I asked a shop what can i do to make it faster he told me fuck it sell it and get an import as far as tryin to make it faster you can pay for mods to go even faster than being stuck their paying

On maintenace once a month which is really goin towards gas and the people at the gas stations were loving it the even gave me a discount cause i was goin in everyday after a race and shit its like shit those cars nowadays dont outlast anything much and when you do find one they are turned to shit by the owner.

Ever since I sold my mustang I felt sad but when i first brought a honda expecailly a cb7 I fell in love with it eversince.
