If it's the Neuspeed adapter, yes, it works... All a short shift adapter does is relocate the mounting point of the shifter cables on the shift lever. Not exactly rocket science, and you can build your own adapter for about $4 using parts from any hardware store.

But a short shifter will greatly increase the wear on your synchros. I had one myself (I actually had that particular adapter before I got a fully modifed lever) and I've since reverted to stock due to notchy shifting.

Vehicles normally have the two-valve system which is actually considered as the most common engine design. This device possesses one intake valve and one exhaust valve. If you want to make impressive engine improvements in any unit within the 1991 1993 Honda Accord model range, you are advised to install better quality and more efficient auto parts in its transmission system. You can actually change the performance of your two-valve system into the four-valve like performance by the use of new components such as the Honda Accord short shifter kit. The most compatible product for your 1991 1993 Honda Accord units is the N24662034 short shifter valve offered by Neuspeed. Once you have this product into your vehicles transmission system, it will immediately reveal better engine operation. The efficiency of this product allows you to use the power generated by the engine at the optimum level. By simply enabling you to shift gears faster, the fuel burnt by the engine is utilized more wisely. Indeed, with this Neuspeed short shifter valve, you are assured of better overall vehicle performance. Its tough materials are well constructed to form heavy duty unit that lets you use it through longer period of time. For you to be able to benefit from it with less worries of having one, our online shop ensures that the product stock is regularly checked for availability. It is displayed and stocked in numerous packages for our customers immediate purchases. If you want to make an order of this Neuspeed Short Shifter Valve now, feel free leave a message via email or make a call directly to our customer service line.
After reading that... I wouldn't buy a damn thing from a company that knows nothing about the cars they're selling parts for. The Accord has 4 valves per cylinder, and that means absolutely nothing as far as the transmission is concerned. This item is not a valve, simply a block of metal that attaches to your shift lever.

You can get the stuff from Lowes or another hardware store as previously mentioned for really cheap. It's pretty notchy until you get used to it. Even then it's still notchy though. I shift slow no matter what even with the DIY shifter. It's more of a feel thing to me. I like the shorter throw but if you try to throw it into gear fast it WILL grind. For less than 10 dollars you can't go wrong to see if you like it. It's easy as hell to do. You'll spend more time taking everything apart to put the bracket on than you will installing it lol. Look for a forbidden shifter or just pull one out of a prelude.
