Just got an Ipod Touch

Anyone want to help me put movies from my computer onto my touch? I downloaded a converter and everything, but it's not working. After the file is converted, it is unrecognizable by both my computer, and my touch??

I've tried a few, but none are working so far. The one i'm trying with right now is Videora ipod converter

Yeah I just tried using that also and the conversion always ends in failure.

Are you converting the files to MP4? That's the format video needs to be in to play on Ipods.

I don't have a touch but I hear they're great actually. A bunch of friends have them and have never had any major issues, except for one kid but he always dropped it

I still have my ipod classis 120g it's pig bimpin' and I've NEVER had any problems ever.

There are some apps that the App Store usually make you pay for, are free yesterday and today. I've download Tap Tap 3 and some Twitter Premium app.

Thanks for mentioning the free tap tap game. I would have never found it if you hadn't talked about it. Now I just wished oregon trail wasn't so damn expensive.

so i was checking out the app store again, i found a game that is called "Seed Rise of Darkness" for free. gave it a try and it plays like zelda or more like Secret of Mana but only with one character instead. hell i played it for the past two or three hours straight that i ran my battery down for the second time today.

The 3rd gen 32gb and 64gb come with faster processers in them. They also come with headphones that have a mic on them and volume controls ( same as iphone 3gs headphones ). The 8gb 3rd gen only comes with 3.0 software. You could jailbreak it as others said but it will " void " your warranty. If anything happens such as you break the screen all you need to do is unjailbreak your ipod and they will never know you tried. And its next to impossible to brick an iphone/ipod touch because they always revert to a recovery mode that you cant really mess up.

Any idea how much faster the procs are?

just hook your ipod up to the Itunes software and it has a "button" to restore original software. well that's how i did it when i tried jail breaking my touch, granted i had to retransfer all my music and stuff back onto it.
