Now we're FINALLY getting some quality musicians on this site.
I think it's time to get a CB7tuner compilation CD going!
I agree. I can do all the mastering for the album if it ever goes down. I have some really nice/expensive gear for mixing and mastering and a LOT of mastering skill.
I still want to do my beat idea using all sounds from a CB7 to make the beat like the engine revving pitched up and down to make a synth, door slamming for a snare, ect.
of course it would sound better if i recorded it instead of u guys reading it but i have no mic at all
Do you have a pair of headphones? You can use them as a mic and believe it or not, it actually sounds pretty good. It sounds better then a lot of cheap mics because the "voice coil" is big (not really a voice call because it is in headphones but it acts as the same thing.
Just plug your headphones into your mic jack and you have a mic!
The best thing to do to make a cheap, temporary mic is to use a spare pair of headphones and re-wire them so that you are only using one side of the headphones and it is in MONO.
